Great Sacred Music

Every Saturday during term time, we present Great Sacred Music, our afternoon service led by the HeartEdge Manchester Clergy and the newly appointed Choral Scholars. Join us each week as we explore a new theme through readings, reflections and songs from the great classical music of our religious heritage.

Great Sacred Music began in September 2021. For the Summer term of 2022 and the 2022-23 academic year, it will be travelling throughout churches in the Diocese of Manchester. It is always free to see, with a retiring collection for the work of the host church and HeartEdge Manchester.

CALL OUT FOR CHURCHES

We are looking for churches to collaborate with to host Great Sacred Music, led by your clergy and our choral scholars. We will soon be looking to set up community choirs and children’s choirs as new entry points into church and faith. Please get in touch if you want to be involved!

Here’s a recent Great Sacred Music on the theme of Seek the welfare of the City filmed at Sacred Trinity Church, Salford.
